How to Reset Your Router by Pressing the Reset Button?
This method requires you to simply press the Reset button on your Netgear router. Simple, right? Follow the instructions mentioned below and know how to restore your device to its default mode by pressing the Reset button:
- Take a cable and connect your router to the power adapter.
- Plug the power adapter into the wall socket and turn on your router.
- Once the LED light turns green, connect your router to the modem.
- Look for the Reset button on your Netgear WiFi router.
- The Reset button is usually located at the bottom of the router.
- Once found, carefully press the button using a sharp object.
When I say ‘sharp object’, it includes objects like an oil pin, paper clip, toothpick, etc. - Hold the button for a couple of seconds before releasing it.
Within some time, your Netgear WiFi router will be restored to its default factory settings.
How to Reset Your Router by Performing Netgear Router Login?
Another way through which you can reset your WiFi device is by performing Netgear router login. Walk through the guidelines outlined below and know how to perform factory default reset by logging into your WiFi router:
- Connect your router and modem using an Ethernet cable.
- Then, open a web browser of your choice on your laptop.
- Whatever web browser you use, make sure that it is updated.
- Access the routerlogin.net web page and click on the ‘three-dots’ option.
- Click on Settings > Administration.
- Under the Erase option, select ‘restore to factory default settings’.
In this way, you can restore your device to its default mode by performing Netgear router login.
